The world's largest producer of seeds, Monsanto, has apparently given up on attempts to spread its genetically modified plant varieties in Europe. A German media report said the firm would end all lobbying for approval.

The German newspaper "taz" reported Friday that US agriculture behemoth Monsanto had dropped any plans to have farmers grow its genetically modified (GM) plant varieties in Europe.
Monsanto Europe spokesman Brandon Mitchener was quoted as saying the company would no longer engage in any lobbying fur such plants on the continent, adding that at the moment the firm was unwilling to apply for approval of any GM plants.

All over the world, protesters have been rallying against genetically modified food - and in particular, against seed giant Monsanto. (28.05.2013)
Monsanto said its decision was partly based on low demand from European farmers. "We've understood that such plants don't have any broad acceptance in European societies," Monsanto Germany spokeswoman Ursula Lüttmer-Ouazane commented. "We haven't been bale to make any progress over the years, and it's counter-productive to tilt against windmills," she added.
Public resistance
The German Agriculture Ministry said Monsanto's move was a corporate decision and would not comment further. But it added it was no secret the ministry had been highly critical of gene modification technologies.
"The promises of GM industry have not come true for European agriculture, nor have they for the agriculture in developing and emerging economies," the ministry said in a statement.
In Germany, the protest movement against GM plants has been particularly strong for years. Vociferous rallying prompted the government in 2009 to prohibit the growing of Monsanto's MON810 GM maize variety.
Rivals of the US company, such as Bayer CropScience, BASF and Syngenta had largely withdrawn from the German market because of large-scale public opposition, the "taz" report claimed.

My passion for health started while I was growing up. When I witnessed the failing health of my beloved Grandfather who had MS, it broke my heart. We make 300,000 billion new cells every day, why not make them better?! I was so passionate about natural health, I had signed up for my schooling program to become a Natural Health Doctor. Dark Chocolate and who I am and what made me turn to this healthy organic chocolate industry ?

My name is Peter Langelaar, 47 years old, born in The Netherlands .
I grew up with my mother, father and younger brother and sister .
I lost my mother in 1997 when she died at 54 years of age. Because of the wrong medication the doctor prescribed her she got a brain infarct.
My first exposure to MLM was 9 years ago in a MLM company from Japan. They do supplements water and air purifying and sleep systems.
That’s why I’m now in an industry with health products and because I like a product close to nature and i already loved Dark chocolate  it was hard to find the best chocolate product in the world and
learned from 2009 to 2011 more and more about chocolate so i become a expert in what is the good and what is the bad chocolate.
I also had to face the fact I needed a new MLM home with a honest product and transparent  company with a real Organic fair-trade certified product and did find this in Choconature.
Also the product has a different raw taste but twice to three times more flavonoid content than most raw chocolates at the market because they ferment their beans so at choconature they skipped this step less = more I always’s say.
The main reason why I joined Choconat: because they warm the dark chocolate as first in the world at low temperture. ( 86 F / 31 celcius )
Because they have a special technique to kill bacteria and parasites without heating or roasting the beans.
So the process always stays at 31° celcius. They (Choconature) are unique in using this technique that saves more flavonoids in our chocolate so we have a higer flavonoid content with minimum measured
values printed at our warps >800 mg flavonoids at 10 gram square and +5000 orac ( + 23000 oracfn ). I find this rather extraordinary and just love it!

Waarom is de keuze van de cacao boon zo belangrijk? er zijn 3 soorten cacao bonen.
Criollo : De Criollo is de volmaakste diamant van alle cacaoboon soorten deze wordt door choconature gebruikt. Deze boon heeft de meest delicate, gebalanceerde en zachte smaak maar is heel vatbaar voor ziektes. De boon is goed voor 5-10% van de wereldproductie en komen voor in Java,Madagasca,Venezuela,equador maar bevat 50% meer nutrienten dan elk van de 2 andere soorten die hier onder staan.
Trinitario : De Trinitario komt oorspronkelijk uit Trinidad. Vanwege zijn subtiele, fijne kwaliteit wordt deze soort vaak gebruikt voor het blenden. Valrhona echter, maakt een overheerlijke chocolade van deze boon. De wereldproductie van de Trinitario is ongeveer 10-15% en komt voor in Grenada,Haïti,Jamaica,Trinidad,Venezuela.
Forastero : De Forastero is de meestverspreide cacaoboon ter wereld. Hij heeft grotere peulen en is veel meer resistent tegen ziektes. Vanwege de mindere kwaliteit en toch sterke, ferme en volle smaak wordt de boon veel gebruikt voor het blenden. Goed voor meer dan 80% van de wereld cacao productie en komt hoofdzakelijk uit Afrika waar Callebaut Hershey en Nestle maar ook Xocai zijn cacao vandaan heeft, via dynamic chocolates in canada wordt dat onder white label gemaakt met gewone barry callebaut chocola zonder gerafineerde suikers en komt voor in Ivoorkust,Ghana,Sao Thomé.

Wat is nu Gezonde Chocolade?

Gezonde Chocola is op een andere mannier bewerkt als normale chocolade zoals dit door de grote chocolade bedrijven wordt gedaan, choconature heeft hier een speciaal procede op ontwikkeld dat ze ten eerste de beste criollo bonen gebruikt en geen fermentatie toepast dit is altijd te proeven door de fruitige smaak die in de chocola achterblijft. Normaal word na de pluk van de cacao pods  de cacao bonen met vruchtvlees ongeveer tussen de 6 a 10 dagen gefermenteerd tussen de 50 en 60 graden dit vernietigd echter in de cacao de belangrijkste enzymen die belangrijk zijn bij de spijsvertering. Dit wordt toegepast bij alle rauwe cacao en gewone chocolade uit de winkels in Nederland en verlaagt daarmee aanzienlijk de gezondheids voordelen in de chocola.

Wat is cacao?

De rauwe cacaoboon is een van de meest fantastische Superfoods tot nu toe bekend! Er zitten meer dan +500 stoffen in cacao.
