Let me tell you a little about my background so you can see where I come from and how I came to the life changing decision of becoming a Xocai Distributor. I grew up in the small college town of Whitewater, Wisconsin, moved to Weslaco, Texas at age 11 where I graduated High school and attended the University of Texas Pan American where I found myself confused with no direction of where I wanted to go in life.  My Dad was a general contractor and apartment landlord and advised me to stop wasting my time and to go study building construction.  So after 3 years of spinning my wheels at the university I transfered to Texas State Technical College where I became a Master Carpenter.  I absolutely loved construction and that led me to landing a big supervising position with a national homebuilder. I was on top of the world living my dream and putting all my passion into my work. Everything was great up until about 2006 when the recession started to set in.  It hit me hard when those bonus checks I so relied on stopped coming in and then going from having 50 homes under construction to losing my job.  I searched everywhere for a new job nationwide…there was nothing…only customer service positions . Homebuilders were going bankrupt everywhere.  That slap of reality sent me back home to work with my dad in his Apartment business.  On my spare time I studied my second passion in life of Natural Medicine and earned my Master Herbalist Title.  I started a small holistic practice from home where I discovered,  I was just wasting my time…clients just would not take me seriously.  Most had free medical service so why would they care or want to pay for herbs? Throughout my struggles, I was blessed to find the love of my life, Aline, a beautiful Brazilian psychologist and in a very short time we married.  My Dad found an amazing opportunity in Houston and left me his entire apartment empire he created in South Texas.  At first I was excited about the new independence and authority of my new role in society of being a landlord until it hit me in the face that this was not my life's purpose! Tenants complaining late at night, broken water heaters, tenants destroying everything right and left, city code enforcement harassing me about this and that…it was complete chaos and one monsterous headache…but it was what put food on the table! I was trapped in this nightmare of a career. Luckily my wife had encouraged me to attend a chamber of commerce meeting that I had become a member of to promote my holistic practice and that's where I met a group of people who were selling something called Healthy Chocolate. My wife and I tried it, and absolutely loved it and I left the group my business card. The following week, I got a call from one of the guys with the group inviting me to a Free Chocolate Tasting.  I was not to thrilled about going, but  wife nudged me and convinced me we need to start going out more and meeting new people.  We went looking for the address and came across a secured gated community and I told the security guard we came for the chocolate tasting, he gave us the directions and WOW, what a house! She asked us how many of us could eat either one these every day because that is exactly how many Anti Oxidants we need to consume on a daily basis.  None of us answered Yes to her question, and that's when she pulled out this small piece of chocolate wrapped in a shiny gold foil. Then she ask us again, how many of us could eat 3 of these a day? Well, that sure lit up everyone's face , but then the question arose, hey, but that's candy, it's bad for us. The doctor answered back, no, this is not candy, this is good for you! I thought to myself, this is getting interesting!
